ABOUT HENRY'S PLACE

Before Sgt. Henry Prendes was killed in the line of duty in 2006, he and his family were in the planning stages of creating a place where teens could learn valuable skills through fun and fellowship in a nurturing environment. Through endless dedication and support, this dream has become a reality as Henry’s Place, a camp facility designed to positively affect the youth of the community he fought so hard to protect.

Henry’s Place is a 14-acre facility located in the foothills west of Cedar City, Utah, approximately three hours north of Las Vegas, Nevada. The preliminary camp design will feature six dormitory cabins, a dining hall, administrative offices, a barn and a live chicken coop, among other amenities. In addition to a skill-building curriculum, campers will participate in outdoor activities such as horseback riding, volleyball, fishing, gardening, ATV riding, music lessons, games and more.

Through our fundraising efforts and generous donations from local companies, Henry’s Place will soon come to fruition. If you would like to help make a difference in a child’s life in a hero’s honor, please Make A Donation.
